got these for $20 from an Amazon warehouse. The packaging was in bad shape, but that was to be anticipated and was OK. The contents were in pristine condition in every manner. I suppose someone tried to put things up but found it too challenging and returned them. Technology is difficult. To get them to operate, I had to spend a lot of time debugging. In order for the setup procedure to proceed correctly, I had to make sure location services were turned on. Normally, I don’t use this service. Make sure you are aware that they can only be configured using the 2.4GHz spectrum. Given that most good routers offer dual bands, there shouldn’t really be a problem.

These are fantastic concepts. I’m planning to utilize one on my business computer because I work from home so I may power cycle it on the infrequent occasions when it becomes unusable. One of the four devices I received won’t turn on. Its integrated LED never turns on. If the vendor doesn’t replace simply the defective one, I’m split between returning all 4. a little depressing But the effective ones are excellent.

Although Alexa integration went well, the fact that there are two outlets in one makes it challenging to set up Alexa to switch off one bulb while leaving the other one on simultaneously. When you ask for a lamp to be lit, a tower lamp is also lit. Alexa needs to be asked to turn off the tower lamp. It could have anything to do with the Alexa command system.

I purchased these to add more useful sockets, and the IoT is an extra bonus. Now that the electricity to these plugs has been turned off, I can use my phone to turn off the music and manage the light in my bedroom.
