As said before, TCL is one of the most budget-friendly and best TVs. I have tested the TCL S546 of the TCL Class 5-Series for this review. It is a 4K LED TV which is considered another of TCL’s best gaming TV.

TCL’s Layout

The TCL Series 5 features the classic TCL TVs design. It is a simple TV having a minimal design. It has thin borders with plastic feet which hold the TV perfectly without wobbling. The feet aren’t much tall meaning that they don’t raise the TV from the table much.

Top-Quality Features

The best HDR TV for console gaming features a VS panel with high contrast ratio. Apart from this, there are a number of other reasons that make this TV the perfect choice for games. It features 3 display resolutions including 720p, 1080p, and 4k. Another important feature required for gaming is quick response time. This TV provides a moderately good response time allowing the gamers to have a smooth motion. It also supports VRR.


I would simply say I loved this TV as it provided a nearly perfect experience. The picture quality was excellent, the setup is easy and it provides a smooth play with an incredibly good response time.

The Vizio M-Series is one of the best TVs for console gaming. I selected the M50Q7 model for my review. It is one of the budget-friendly TVs for console gaming. When we talk about budget TVs the Vizio TVs are definitely mentioned, due to their low price yet moderately good performance.

Vizio’s Design

The Vizio M7 features a very simple setup which is perfect for any sort of setup. It has two feet which are flat and keeps the TV about 2 inches above the table. The TV has thin borders, and is thick on the side, for wall-mounting if you wish to. The overall build quality of the Vizio TV is pretty decent.

Technical Features

The features that make the best TV for console gaming with Dolby vision, perfect for gaming include a fantastic native contrast ratio allowing gaming to be carried in bright as well as dimmer lights. The response time of the TV is also quick and it also supports VRR. Another requirement of a gaming TV is that it should have low input lag and fortunately, Vizio M7 also has this feature. However, the local dimming feature requires certain improvements. Apart from this, it uses 60 Hz panels whereas other TVs have 120 Hz panels.

The Vizio MQ7 is limited to a 60 HZ panel only but it still manages to provide a really good gaming experience. The input lag is low and the response time is also fairly good. If your budget allows, this is a good option for gaming, but if you have a higher budget, it is recommended to go for the previously mentioned TVs for console gaming.

The Best TV with Built-in Alexa has surprisingly a very decent design for its budget. It is an extremely thin body with plastic feet which have a cheap feel to them. The installation of the stand is simple. The back of the TV is made of plastic and has a decent overall design.

Samsung 7000 series Features

The 43” TU-7000 TV doesn’t offer the best features, but it surely offers some which make it a good choice for gaming. The input lag is moderately low, meaning there is no delay in gaming. The black uniformity of the screen is pretty outstanding for such a budgeted TV. Apart from this, the TV also offers an excellent contrast ratio.


I was scared to order this budget TV; however, I went on and when I received the TV, it proved to be one of my good buys. The TV had amazing picture quality and everything was easy and simple to set up. Another feature that I liked was that I could use the Samsung remote as my PS4 remote.
