DESCRIPTION
Arctics Nova Pro has Premium High Fidelity Drivers that deliver the highest levels of clarity and sound quality. Utilizing a pioneering Pro-grade Parametric EQ for gaming, the Sonar Software allows you to completely personalize the audio experience. You are transported into the game world with immersive surround sound, which allows you to hear every important action, reload, or spoken cue to give you an advantage. Fully compatible with PlayStation 5’s Tempest 3D Audio and Xbox’s Microsoft Spatial Sound. Get lost in your virtual world as a customized 4-mic hybrid gaming system blocks out background sounds. To adjust to any circumstance, use Transparency Mode with varying settings.
To keep your Arctics Nova Pro headset running for as long as possible, you may quickly switch between utilizing one battery and charging the other. Note: If you experience problems with Bluetooth connectivity, please turn off the feature for a few minutes before turning it back on. You can connect your Xbox, PC, Mac, PlayStation, or Switch, and switch between them at the push of a button thanks to the dual USB connections. To allow you to converse with pals while gaming, combine two audio connections simultaneously. While utilizing Bluetooth for calls, Discord, music, and podcasts, you may play with lag-free 2.4GHz. With the help of Sonar Software’s potent AI algorithms, the ClearCast Gen 2 mic eliminates background noise to provide you with crystal-clear communications. For a sleeker appearance, the mic also entirely retracts into the earcup.

FAQs
Are there any plans to release a 5 GHz wireless version to prevent interference from other devices using the same 2.4 GHz frequency, which can cause popping and crackling noises?
The claim that there is a problem with outdated technology is untrue. The 9x wifi I recently owned was terrible. They often cut out and lost connection. And it would fuzz out at some frequencies. SteelSeries basically advised me to fend for myself when I wrote them since they won’t talk to me. It’s a well-known problem, and it will become problematic if there are any nearby wireless controllers.
Does the Nova Pro appear on a computer as two devices, like the Arctis 7? i.e., I have two outputs—one for the game, the other for a chat?
When used in conjunction with our free audio program Sonar on a PC, Arctis Nova Pro Wireless X features simultaneous audio so you can listen to game and conversation audio at the same time. It is already integrated into the separate “Xbox” version and source for usage on Xbox.
How big should a nova pro wireless cup be?
It seems to be 2 3/4 inches broad and 3 inches tall. Be careful that the Nova PROs include a microphone that goes inside the cup and MIGHT touch some people’s earlobes (most likely people with larger ears). The Wireless Nova 7s are fantastic if you don’t feel comfortable taking the risk of purchasing anything like that (particularly at that price).
I have an Xbox One in one room and a PC in another. Can I switch between them without an issue, or will the distance pose a problem?
Depending on whether one of the systems uses Bluetooth. It comes with a dock that features actual USB c ports for Xbox and PC. Alternatively, you may connect your Xbox with a super-long USB-C connection.
Is it possible to put the DAC to sleep or turn it off? My display is always on.
Although there is no off switch, there is a “dim” option. While holding down the volume control, go to System > Display > Dim. To choose, press the volume button. A soft button that functions as the back button is located in a circle adjacent to the volume control.
Does the microphone on these headphones work well for streaming?
No. I feel that it fits better with a webcam mic. Although you can improve the quality with the provided 3.5 jack and foam wind-screen, a dedicated microphone will still sound better when you’re a YouTube streamer.
The positional audio sounds okay. Can you identify if the footfall is coming from above, below, on the sides, or in the back? clearly.
I’m playing CoDModern Warfare 2 right now, and I can hear guys racing into my scope from the room above me and down the stairs! Make sure you turn on Dolby surround sound in the game’s sound settings as well as on the console or PC (you may need to have Dolby access on a PC).
Does it work with the LG C1 TV? Does that have HD?
If so, then no unless you hook your headset to the 3.5mm jack on the television itself. You give up surround sound and other sophisticated capabilities, and it just becomes a $350 pair of 3.5mm wired headsets.
Is there a 3.5 mm jack required or does this operate wirelessly with the PS5, PC, and Series X?
Yes. The Xbox version is compatible with EVERYTHING that uses the DAC for audio control. It has two USB Type-C ports. One is just labeled as USB and may connect to anything other than an Xbox, while the other is STRICTLY for an Xbox. Obtain the Xbox version if you own all 3 platforms. Except for the Xbox, everything will work with the PC and PS4/5 versions.
Can this wirelessly connect to both a PC and a PS5 at the same time?
The Xbox version contains a port made specifically for the Xbox, thus you should get the non-Xbox version. The headphones, however, would be cordless, while the DAC would be simultaneously tethered to a computer and a PlayStation 5 through USB. You would have to pick whatever input you want to use from the DAC, and switching from a PS5 to a PC or vice versa simply takes a few seconds.
