DESCRIPTION

Wynd Plus is designed to create a bubble of positive pressure to keep out harmful air. Wynd’s personal purifier uses a medical-grade filter to capture contaminants including pollen, pet dander, dust, and pollution. Based on the air quality stations in your area, this device automatically adjusts to clean air quickly or slowly. The Plus has an integrated, removable air quality sensor that tracks your environment continually and notifies you when the air quality deteriorates. Connect your Plus to the Wynd app to remotely check your air quality, manage your Wynd devices, and track trends for the best possible comfort and wellness. Power and speed are in your palm.

Wynd portable air purifiers are strong enough to eliminate 99.99% of pollutants in a car cabin in about 15 minutes by purifying up to 8 liters of air per second. They were developed by engineers from NASA and MIT. No matter where life takes you, always breathe pure air. Wynd Plus may be used everywhere because it is as compact as a water bottle and fits in a cup holder, including in an airline, automobile, workplace, small space, a stroller, and more. Wynd Plus has a battery life of around 8 hours when not plugged in. Wynd is equipped to clean your air practically everywhere thanks to its high purification rate to size ratio and a filter that lasts between 3 and 4 months. Use Auto mode

Tap the Auto button on the Purifier to turn on Auto mode:

Auto mode automatically adjusts the airflow level based on the air quality (as sensed by the Tracker).

Use the kickstand

1. Snap the kickstand into Wynd’s attachment points.
2. Expand the kickstand to funnel clean air at an angle.

Night Mode

Double Tap the power button on the Purifier to turn on Night Mode:

Night mode turns off the light to help improve sleep quality.

Charge Wynd

Plug in the supplied USB-C cable to the slot in the back of Wynd.

Make sure to use our supplied cable to protect Wynd from bad third-party cables!

To charge the Tracker, dock it in the Purifier and turn on the Purifier.

Change the filter

1. Screw off the bottom cap.
2. Take out the old filter and insert the new one.
3. Screw the bottom cap back in.

The filter should last an average of 3 months, and the app provides the filter lifetime. Order more through the app or at hellowynd.com.

Purifier or Tracker not working right?

Try resetting your devices to see if it fixes the problem. Here’s how:

Hold down the Purifier’s power button for 10 seconds.

Place a pin (or other sharp objects) into the tracker’s reset hole.

One Last Thing

Charge the Purifier for at least 4 hours before using it unplugged. you can still use it while it’s charging.

If you twist off the bottom cap to check out the filter, make sure and twist it back on tightly. If it’s not securely in place, the Tracker won’t be able to charge correctly.

How much time does a charge have? Does it have a battery?

With a medium degree of purification, the Wynd Plus can operate for around 8 hours on rechargeable lithium-ion batteries.

The Air Quality Tracker, a removable lab-grade sensor for evaluating air quality and more accurately managing the purifier, has been added to Wynd Plus. Wynd Personal Mini, also known as Wynd Essential, just has a purifier. To gain more information and control, both can link to the smartphone app.

Can Wynd assist in removing scent from the air?

What you are truly smelling are volatile organic compounds, and I’m not convinced the filtering system is capable of eliminating VOCs from the air. It wasn’t great, but I used it in a rental bedroom that had lingering candles and other odors. I was relieved to have it with me on a recent long trip.

Is the filter made for medical use a genuine HEPA filter?

Instead of True HEPA, the medical-grade filter is a MERV-16 filter. It can remove 99%+ of particles larger than one micron in size, and very nearly that percentage for particles less than that. To balance air flow and one-pass filtering efficiency, this device does not use a HEPA-type filter. The air movement and cleaning capacity of a device of this size are practically blocked by HEPA filters since they are so thick.

Is it necessary to fully charge something before using it?

Although it is suggested that you charge it beforehand, I used mine before it was fully charged, and it didn’t seem to be an issue.

Are the batteries easily replaceable so that both the main unit and the portable device may have new ones installed as needed?

The batteries cannot be taken out. For 10 seconds, keep the power button down on the purifier. Put a pin in the reset hole on the Tracker.

Does this item include the over-the-shoulder carry bag?

The portable air purifier is supplied with a felt bag that is large enough to carry it, but not over the shoulder. It is made to easily carry in a briefcase, suitcase, bag, or purse.

Is a warranty offered?

I bought the three-year protection package that is available upon checkout. I estimate the price to have been approximately $11.

How is history preserved?

It does go. The Wynd app keeps track of past air quality data and presents it by the most recent week, month, and year.

Is it possible to utilize this as a portable air purifier? Ionic necklaces are not something I want, but my job is not stationary.

Actually, a portable air purifier was intended to be the purpose of the Wynd Plus. It will produce a 3-foot clean air “bubble” around the gadget while in motion.

Given its size, I’m not sure how useful it would be outside. If charged, it can operate without a plug. It may help if you held it near to you, I suppose.
